Our programs focus on providing access, exposure, and hands-on experience in various professions to middle and high school children. By inspiring and guiding them, we aim to broaden their career horizons and spark their passions.
Community Connection: Our events emphasize the importance of community. We show students how their career choices can have a positive impact on the community they live in, fostering a sense of responsibility and purpose.
Empowering Tools: Most importantly, we give kids the tools they need to dream big. Through our Career Discovery Events, students gain practical insights, interact with professionals, and receive guidance.
Career Spark
We're thrilled to introduce our new Career Spark program! This cohort-based experience takes a combination of all SparkBridge’s programs to empower youth to explore and plan towards their career interest and pathways through a combination of:
- Exposure and Mentorship: Which allows students to gain real-world insights and connect with dedicated mentors to help guide your career path.
- Soft Skill Development: Master essential skills like professionalism, communication, teamwork, and critical thinking to thrive in any profession.
- Career Planning Workshops: Assisting youth with developing personalized roadmaps to align with their career interests including class selection, resume building, and real-life work experience focusing on job shadowing opportunities.
Career Exposure Events
We believe in empowering young minds by providing them with exciting opportunities to explore and envision their future careers. Our Career Discovery and Exposure Events are designed to:
- Connect youth with relatable career professionals individuals who look like them, live in their community, and can align with their experiences.
- These professionals offer engaging, age and culture-oriented experiences that resonate with kids, fostering a passion for their future careers.
- We understand the significance of representation and strive to ensure that every child can see themselves in these roles and visualize their path to success.
Career in Action
Through this program we provide students with hands-on experiences in the actual workspaces. Allowing them to explore diverse professions and gain practical insights. This Real-World Exposure Program:
- Shapes their Future Careers through hands-on experience while also emphasizing the importance of representation.
- At SparkBridge we want to help ease the transition from the classroom to the workplace by giving the students the invaluable real-world exposure as they go through our dynamic program.
- To help our youth envision their paths to success, we are dedicated to matching students with mentors and professionals who not only offer valuable insights but also mirror their backgrounds and communities.
